Cumaru

Cumaru is a tough, dense South American Hardwood that has an irregular, somewhat interlocked grain, and wavy and coarse texture. Because of its density, it is very resistant to termites and decay. Cumaru’s heartwood is a medium brown with distinctive tan shades.

Kiln Dried: | Our decking is kiln dried to approximately 15% moisture content. Drying is important to stabilize wood from undue twisting and cupping. |
Clear Grade: | Decking planks are clear of defect on three sides. We allow minor visible defects on the bottom side. |
End Sealed: | All WalkGreen® is end-sealed to stabilize the wood and prevent or minimize end-splitting. |
